College Manor for over 60 years in Maryland

Jane’s Corner – Alz.org Virtual Walk

Alzheimer’s Disease is a debilitating illness that affects more than 5 million Americans today. Alzheimer’s causes many senior citizens to develop memory loss and confusion, as well as a host of other symptoms. We at College Manor have seen first-hand what Alzheimer’s does to those who are affected. While there is currently no cure, College Manor and its residents will continue to fight until one is found. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the Alzheimer’s Association to raise money for research into how to stop this disease from destroying the mental capacity of hundreds of thousands of senior citizens.

Please come join us for our Annual ‘Walk to End Alzheimers‘ every year in the Fall. College Manor is proud to participate in a virtual walk around College Manor Assisted Living.

Please view the video to find out more about this special day.

Walk to End Alzheimer’s unites the entire community — participants that include family, friends, co-workers, social and religious groups and more — in a display of combined strength and dedication in the fight against this devastating disease.
