Many of the activities we offer are those your loved ones enjoy. Bingo is familiar. Word games are stimulating.
More than just a passing of time, our numerous activities promote community.
Within College Manor, there are tons of opportunities for your loved one to have fun and enjoy the later years in their life. Is your parent/grandparent creative? We’ve got art classes every week, and even a music program. Do they like to stay fit? We’ve got tai chi, bowling, exercise classes, and tons of other activities for them to keep up their youth. Does your loved one enjoy the finer things in life? We’ve got high tea and garden club for that. We even offer manicures to any residents who wants one, even the men. Some activities change each month while favorites, such as exercise or art class are regularly scheduled.
We also take monthly trips to go ballroom dancing (even in wheelchairs) and out to dinner to a variety of local restaurants in Baltimore, Towson, Lutherville, Timonium and Cockeysville, MD.
We create special events that combine food and music. We celebrate the seasons with our fall bonfire and summer crab feasts with families and friends. We nurture spiritual needs with regular religious services, visitations and study times.
At our monthly Resident Council Meeting, you will have the opportunity to discuss the activities offered as well as other issues. As you know, everyone has different tastes and preferences which is made clear in a community environment. But this should not stand in the way of your peace and comfort. Resident Council helps guide us to create the environment that is most pleasing to you.
